Oksigenia Aty
Privacy policy
This policy is also published in Spanish, the language of the company’s registration, and the Spanish version is the one that applies.
1. What Aty is
Oksigenia Aty is the mobile app for signing in to the learning platforms that Oksigenia hosts for each school or organisation. This policy explains what data the app handles, where it stays and who processes it. What you have on your school’s platform is also covered by your school’s own privacy policy.
2. Who processes your data
- Your school or organisation is the controller of its users’ educational data.
- Oksigenia SL hosts the platform and the notification service, and processes that data as a processor: on the school’s behalf and following its instructions (Article 28 of the GDPR).

3. What the app keeps on your phone
- The address of your school’s platform.
- Your session, so you don’t have to sign in every time.
- Your profile and course data, cached so it isn’t downloaded every time.
- The files you download.
- The language you choose.
- If you turn it on, a PIN to unlock the app, protected by your fingerprint or face in Android’s secure storage.
4. What it sends, and to whom
- To your school’s platform, hosted by Oksigenia in Europe: the normal usage data of the platform, and your device’s registration for notifications (manufacturer, model, operating system and its version, a device identifier and the notification identifier).
- To Oksigenia’s notification server and to Google Firebase Cloud Messaging: the notification identifier and the content of each notification, only to deliver it to you.
Firebase Cloud Messaging is Google’s service for delivering notifications on Android. To deliver them, Google may process that data outside the European Union, under the safeguards of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
5. What it doesn’t do
- It has no advertising.
- It has no analytics or tracking.
- It doesn’t sell your data or pass it on to anyone.
6. Permissions it asks for, and why
- Camera: to read your school’s QR code, and to take photos or videos you attach.
- Microphone: to record audio and attach it.
- Notifications and reminders: to show you notifications and reminders.
- Fingerprint or face (optional): to unlock the app.
- Files: to download and upload materials.
The app doesn’t use your location or your contacts. You can withdraw any permission in Android’s settings.
7. How long it is kept
The session lasts until you sign out or your school revokes it. Removing an account from the app deletes that site’s data from the phone, and uninstalling the app deletes all of it. The platform’s data is kept for as long as your school decides, as the controller.
8. Your rights
The GDPR gives you the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. To exercise them, contact your school, which is the controller, or write to hola@oksigenia.com. To delete your account, follow the steps in Delete your Oksigenia Aty account.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
9. Age
Aty is for people over 13.
